Hi ram, Sampath here. Let me start the first post. Can you tell me about the user registration/login page. I don't want to use the asp.net wizard. so, I created a DB using SQL server to store the user details. In the DB i created two binary fields to store the password and confirmation, but unfortunately, i am receiving those fields as string in the website. So, it posts some type conversion error. My question is how to convert a string that i receive as input to store it as a binary data.
Are than any other ways to implement the same feature like stored procedures or something.

My first Blog topic - Cant think of anything so i am gonna write about my website.
On 22nd December 09, I just got a spark. A medium size bulb was glowing above my head. Just then I realised I should create a personal website to tell everything about me and have to use all the stuff I have learnt technically for past 2 years at work to do this site. So I started ground working on it and prepared a design plan and wanted to achieve exactly what I thought and eventually I did. The blog idea was added later stage during development. It has taken 3 weeks for me to spare time then and there to complete this. Hope you guys like it. And use the MyBlog section often as a way to discuss stuffs. Please feel free to write comments on the blogs or create your own. You will be notified through email when people write comments on your article automatically. So guys give it a go and tell me what you think.
